St. John Passion: An Eastertide Oratorio
The work will be performed by the MusicaNova Orchestra and Chorus. The intricate Choruses will be sung by our professional choir, and the hymn-like Chorales, which the audience invited to join in.A pre-concert discussion led by Dr. Bruce Johnson and Music Director Warren Cohen examines the oratorio’s controversial history.

Ports of Call: Music from Around the World
Audiences will conjure visions from a Mediterranean cruise, and a trip to Bali to hear sounds of the gamelan. They will feel the interpretations of American jazz on Danish streets, and experience the new world in an operatic ballet inspired by Native American music.Joining the orchestra are soloists Alex Dergal in Carl Nielsen’s Clarinet Concerto No. 2, and Dmitry Feofanov in a new, single piano arrangement of Francis Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos.
